The flagstone for the pathways throughout the garden leading from the Tower to the Sundial and Pond were collected from the shoreline just north of the Smelter Wharf and hauled back to the garden by the firefighters.  The Sundial was fabricated in 1931 with the motto "It's Later then You Think" selected by Peter McEwen.

Next to the sundial, you will find a birdhouse model of the old tower that has been in place since 1931 and was recently refurbished by one of the Tower Hill Gardeners.

Close by is a trefoil shaped bed outlined by flagstone that is filled with annual and perennial flowers that change year to year.

Regardless of what is planted there, the canna lilies look great every fall.
